How this score works
Nutrition contributes up to 60 points, ingredient assessment 30, and a verified organic bonus 10. A score without an asterisk has complete inputs under our current rules. An asterisk marks a working estimate. Known data is retained; unresolved scoring components use disclosed assumptions and a possible span. An ingredient midpoint is a policy choice, not a safety finding. Without verified certification, no organic bonus is added.
Our beta conversion uses the 2023 nutrition rules and food category. Estimates can also calculate beverages, infer the category, and use partial nutrition with disclosed assumptions. They are not clinically validated measurements or Yuka’s formula. A score of 100 does not mean a perfect diet or a guarantee of safety.
